When in Tomas Morato, DO NOT FORGET TO VISIT H CUISINE. This is a soft reminder for those who love meat, glorious meat! This was one of our stops when we went to Tomas Morato, right before my Eighteen Bistro stint. It was one of those stomach space and calories worthy stops. Let me tell you why.

H Cuisine has the BEST Angus Beef Belly in the Metro. We went here to order nothing else but this.

We got an order of “The Most Awesome Angus Beef Belly” for sharing. It had about 8 thick slices of beef belly with potatoes and some other veggies on the side. It also came with a demiglace gravy, which you can ask to be refilled if needed.

The Angus Beef Belly was indeed AWESOME. It was amazingly tender. No need for a knife to cut since your fork will suffice. It had that "melt-in-your-mouth" goodness and it was delicious as well. Loved the right amount of fat trimmings and its characteristic saltiness. Since this was slow cooked, each bite of the meat was bursting with flavors. The gravy was a bonus. This glorious meat can stand on its own but then again smothering it with gravy wouldn’t hurt. IMO, the gravy enhanced the natural flavors of the meat.

I would love to go back here and tag the husband along. We were lucky to score a seat since we were there early. As the minutes passed by, the tables were quickly tagged as "reserved". By the time we went out, the restaurant was already packed!
