Kapitolyo Food Tour: Main Street

While we were sipping coffee in Epic Cafe, were we started our Kapitolyo Food Tour, we spotted Main Street. It was right across so there was no way that we will not be able to notice it. We were having second thoughts in checking it out because of the mixed reviews but since we were surveying the place, we decided to go for it.

We checked this place out hoping to get something good out of it. We scanned the menu as soon as we were given a table, found nothing really interesting. We gave it another check and luckily, Eggslut caught my attention! Bacon & eggs in the morning?  Sounds just about right!

Served with fries and Sriracha Mayo, we went with the fries as soon as the plate landed into our table. The fries were okay. Nice and crispy, well seasoned, best when dipped into the Sriracha mayo. The burger, or sandwich if you may, though was a different story. We all agreed that the bun needed to be a little more toasted.

The cheese got stuck into the bun and didn't even melt. The bacon was good - thick, applewood smoked. That's all. The scrambled egg was creamy but it was sweet! Would have been better if it was salty. I didn't like it at all and it's pretty expensive for the serving size.

I'm going to be very generous with my rating here and swear to give them another try.
