When Pound by Todd English opened in BGC, they went all out with their opening promo and people went crazy lining up for hours! #PayWhatYouWant on their burgers was the name of the game! As they opened their second branch in Mega Mall on March 13th (Monday), they rolled out the same promo all week long!!! Buy a burger and #PayWhatYouWant on your 2nd burger!!! They're not strict about the rules - you can buy 1 for yourself and get another for your friend. Great deal yuh? The Foie Gras Burger though is not included in this promo!

Located in Mega Fashion Hall, 2/F, they have a 16 seater area where the kitchen is housed plus an open area right smack the middle of the mall. The smaller space was reminiscent of the BGC branch - dim lights, very private ambiance.
The bigger area had a semi-open space that's hard to miss since it's aesthetically pleasing! Industrial and very modern in design, it totally changed the dull landscape of that section of Mega Fashion Hall.

This was simple but definitely good! Crisp and fresh greens, onions, heirloom tomatoes, raspberry vinaigrette and about three packets of deep fried goat cheese ravioli! Loved the sweet and tangy vinaigrette and the goat cheese ravioli with that strong goat cheese flavor that I fancy!

Fresh cut fries x home made gravy x lots of cheese x lots of bacon chunks! The gravy was good and went well with the gooey cheese! Can't go wrong with bacon and fries!

This was one of my favorite sides! Crisp French Beans deep fried with this salty and truffle infused batter, served with a mayo based dipping sauce - loved the strong truffle kick!

Believe me when I say that one serving is not enough for 1 person! My foodsocietyph homies agree that this was THE BEST appetizer for the night! Creamy risotto bites that have been deep fried with a truffle infused batter giving off a nice truffle kick and a lovely crunch! Topped with lots of grated cheese and a side serving of dipping sauce, you must order this!

THE ULTIMATE BURGER!!! For 700Php, you'll get two relatively big cuts of Foie Gras (50g total) on top of some Foie Gras Mousse, a thick and juicy all beef burger patty with lettuce, tomatoes, fresh onions, caramelized onions all in a toasted bun. Loved the creamy, luscious and very tasty Foie Gras that was perfectly seared! Went well with the medium rare burger patty.

Two pieces mini burgers each with thick house-cured bacon, quail egg, apple aioli in a Brioche Bun. The contrast of the salty bacon and sweet aioli was good!

I wasn't able to try this burger since I was too full! But this one had a thick house ground beef patty, pastrami, fried onion, Gruyere, Sauerkraut, mustard relish, TE sauce in a toasted homemade Brioche Bun.

Their only dessert with a hefty serving of chocolate and caramel sauces at the bottom x vanilla ice cream x Betty White Brownie Cubes x OMG Brownie Cubes x rock salt. This was just okay. The brownie cubes were a little hard and the ice cream was Selecta 😂😂😂
Definitely loved their burgers! Based on the quality and serving size, I can say that they were reasonably priced. Same goes with their starters!
Don't forget to drop by their Mega Mall branch from March 13 to 19 to take advantage of the their OPENING PROMO!!! Again, it's #PayWhatYouWant on your SECOND BURGER (except Foie Gras Burger)!!!!
