A little trip to SM BF the other day got us checking their food offerings. There aren't a lot of choices in this mall. As we ascended the mall's 3rd floor, a line up of fast food chains greeted us. The familiar ones were there - KFC, Chowking, Jollibee and BK to name some. Then there was Chopstop. I have been seeing this fast food place in Eastwood and ATC but haven't paid much attention to it. Until this day. Since the husband loves pork chops, this stop was a good choice.
To order, you have to:
1) Decide if you want 1 piece or 2 pieces of chop (119Php for 1 piece & 169Php for 2 pieces)
2) Choose your meat: Chicken or Pork
3) Choose your side: Veggies or Nachos
4) Choose your sauce: BBQ, Chili, Gravy or Jack Daniel's
5) Choose your drink or add 10Php for Iced Tea

Hubby got one piece of Pork Gravy Chops with nachos and iced tea while and I got their Jack Daniel's Chops in pork with nachos and iced tea too.

Small serving of pork chops with lots of breading. But then again I must admit that I liked them! Each one was tasty and had a good trimming of fat. The breading gave a crunch in every bite and the gravy added flavor to it. Caution though - the gravy was very runny. On the other hand, the JD sauce rendered a sweet note to the chops.

We also got an order of their Spaghetti Meatballs with Chicken. This was okay. The spaghetti sauce was a little sour than the usual fast food kiddie spaghetti but mind you, it had about 3 pieces of tasty meat balls. The chicken was okay too. Nothing special.
Interestingly, they also offer an "All-Day Unli Margarita" for only 149Php. Good deal, eh?

Overall, ChopStop offers an alternative to known fast food restaurants. Good alternative, that is.
