Tully's Coffee

Written By clapalisoc on Saturday 23 March 2013 | 19:18

While waiting for the hubby to finish some bill payments, the little girl and I checked out establishments around Fort Legends to find a place to hang out. We scanned the area and found some options but one cafe got my attention -Tully's. They've got this kid's corner that's visible from the outside. I knew that the little girl would enjoy this.

Upon entering the Cafe, I was surprised by the proud space that welcomed us! It even has a mezzanine area to boot.

Since we were first timers, we needed some help from the staff to get us acquainted with their menu. I asked the little girl to choose whatever she wanted from the pastry/cake display. She immediately singled out Double Chocolate Muffin.

That chocolaty goodness center!
Two more, please!

The muffin was a surprise! It looked very muffin like on the outside topped with chocolate chips. Once you get past the top and dig in, the chocolaty center will greet you - melted rich chocolate that's not too sweet! When hubby came in to join us, we ordered two more of this. Man, this was uber good and a sure hit for chocolate lovers!

For drinks, got Matcha Green Tea Matcha Bellaccino for me and Kid's Cocoa foe the little girl.

The Kid's Cocoa was also a hit! Not too sweet and has mallows too. Honestly, when I ordered this, I thought I was getting an iced version. I guess there was a misunderstanding. I had to let it warm up a little before the little girl was able to drink it. But the hubby liked it and finished it!

On the other side, their Matcha Smoothie had more milk than what I wanted. The Matcha kick was subtle but was okay. Still the same Matcha goodness that I will always favor.

Love the lighting!
Really spacious!
Homey feel...
The cafe was really spacious. The type that would still have ample space to move about even if it gets packed. It's mezzanine area was very private. If you want an intimate after dinner hang out place, this is the one for you. The furnishings and fixtures were also grand. And the best part, the kid's corner with books, educational toys, tables and chairs for the little ones.

Enjoying her muffin and toys!

Guess I found a new hang out place where my little girl can also enjoy! And before I forget, they have free wifi that's fast and reliable!
