Ice Flower Snow Falling Korean Dessert Cafe - Bingsu Place in the South with "Falling Snow" Room!

Ice Flower has been lurking in the social media scene for quite some time now and we had the chance to visit on a Sunday. It's one of the popular Bingsu places in the South of the Metro, located inside Molito complex which has turned into a thriving foodie place. The night before, hubby and I went here and saw their room that had falling ice. We thought that it’ll be a great idea to bring the kids.

Inside the Cafe - very colorful chairs with those lovely butterfly ones!

Just like the other Bingsu places, the space was huge with lots of tables and chairs. It had an unfinished design with walls full of posters of their products. Their “Snow Falling” room was the highlight. Kids enjoy playing here. They’ve got huge ice crushers in the ceiling of the glass enclosed room that produced the falling “snow.”

It's amazing, if you come to think of it, how much ice is being used the entire time that they're open. Kinda slippery so you better make sure that you’ll accompany your children while they’re playing.

Onto their Bingsu, I think they have the most expensive Bingsu prices in the Metro. We tried the following –-

Mango, Mango and Cheese, Blueberry and Cheese and Matcha! YES! Matcha friends, they have MATCHA BINGSU!

Matcha Bingsu, Green Tea Bingsu
Green Tea/Matcha Bingsu - Single for 210Php, Double or 360Php

The Matcha Bingsu had a good heaping of adzuki beans on top with about 3 pieces of small Injeolmi cubes. It’s covered in Matcha powder but I would say that they could have incorporated some Matcha into the ice itself then covered the entire thing with more powder. Didn’t really get a good matcha kick. This was served with extra sweet milk on the side.

Mango Bingsu was okay. It had cubes of ripe mango which were sweet. They also added three pieces of almonds. Kinda wish there were more mango cubes though.

Mango and Cheese Bingsu

Mango and Cheese Bingsu was okay too. Nothing special and definitely not the best that I've tried so far. It had the same ripe and sweet mango cubes and about eight pieces of cheese cubes and three pieces of almonds. No whipped cream nor ice cream, too expensive for the quality and for the serving of toppings.

Blueberry and Cheese Bingsu
Blueberry and Cheese Bingsu - Single for 290Php, Double for 440Php

Blueberry and Cheese Bingsu had a good heaping of blueberry preserves, eight pieces of cheese cubes and finished off with some blueberry sauce. Blueberry mixed well with the milk ice and this was good but gosh...that price!

A closer look at the finely shaved ice and what's beneath the pile of ice!

Overall, shaved ice was fine, same quality as that of Hobing's. But then again with their high price range, they could have been more generous with their toppings! It's like you're literally paying for the "Falling Snow" room with their Bingsu prices.

Injeolmi Toast
Injeolmi Toast for 150Php

We've also tried their Injeolmi Toast and we loved it! Two pieces of toasted bread with a thin layer of Injeolmi in between, covered with roasted soy bean powder, topped with almond slivers and drizzled with caramel syrup.

This was served with some blueberry sauce, just in case you want to add some flavor. Didn't find this sauce useful though coz the toast was good as it is.There's something with Injeolmi that keeps me wanting for more!

I would say that it was an okay experience. If not for the Snow room that my kids enjoyed, I will not consider going back here.

4 out of 5 Stars for the place, 3 out of 5 Stars for the Bingsu!
