Food Parks have been sprouting like mushrooms in different parts of the metro. Larger areas like QC houses more than a handful. Kapitolyo also has its fair share of this trending concept but these existing food parks have some issues that we love to hate.
1) Since they're food parks, the stalls are gathered in a compound that's open air. Very cost saving, very practical but will leave customers sweating like crazy making their traffic of people thinner when the sun is still up.
2) Parking - VERY HARD to score parking space in most food park locations. Customers are forced to park along side streets.
3) Mediocre food - food parks seem to have the same stalls and it often gets tiring and disappointing.
We got an invite from The Foodie Station to try this new food park in Kapitolyo. Food Haven at 77 x foodsocietyph x foodfanaticph = yay!
Food Haven changed the food park ball game. It's well organized, air conditioned, well curated stalls and lots of tables and chairs. It's housed in a two story home that has been modified a little but all it's old charm were retained. Grand stair case, simple interiors, high ceiling, balcony - it's as if you're stepping inside your grandma's house! The place can house a lot of customers and it's also perfect for events!
Among all the stalls, we got to try the following:
Angus Beef Salpicao for 170Php (Regular) | 260Php (Hungry) |
Salpicao and Freshly Squeezed Lemonade - a must combo when you visit this place! Reasonably priced Salpicao, served with garlic rice, each chunk of Angus beef was tender and tasty!
Freshly Squeezed Lemonade for 70Php |
Their lemonade is one for the books as well. Guaranteed freshly squeezed, it's such a joy to watch them do it! It's refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness, bursting with lemon goodness!
Nino for 100Php | Nacho for 170Php | Mucho for 230Php (Cheese Steak Sandwich from Kitchen Chong - see below) |
The name came from "United Nations" since they're serving nachos inspired by different countries. We got to try their USA and Mexico Nachos. Both had a good serving of cheese sauce but needs more toppings. USA had a spicy kick.
This stall offers Kapampangan Style Sisig. Try their Pork Sisig for the usual crunchy tasty salty flare.
Laventana
Chorizo Sisig for 200Php (Solo) | 445Php (Sharing) |
Serving non-traditional Filipino dishes, this stall has this interesting sisig - Chorizo Sisig! It's something different but was actually good! Served with three sunny side up eggs, this sisig was topped with scallions and chicharon. Leaning towards the salty side, mix the calamansi to bring out the flavors and don't forget to pair this with rice.
Another best seller of Laventana is their Soy-Glazed Bangus that comes with a serving of Mongo and rice.
Fibonacci Pizza di Vino
Prosciutto & Arugula for 329Php | Margherita Classico for 199Php |
Prosciutto & Arugula, California BBQ and Margherita - these were the flavors served.
California BBQ for 289Php |
The California BBQ had too much of the BBQ Sauce so it was overwhelming and sour but I liked the Margherita which had a fresh taste of tomatoes, good ratio of cheese and garden freshness from the basil leaves.
Fiyah means fire and this stall is known for their grilled Chicken and Bacon Steak (or liempo). I liked that they have an assortment of sauces to go with the grilled meat - Peri-Peri sauce, Chipotle sauce which has Adobo Sauce mixed with pureed chipotle peppers, Hot Mangorind with mango, tamarind and chili garlic, Smokey BBQ which has hazelnut bbq sauce and Sriracha.
Fiyah Chicken for 160Php (Quarter Chicken Set) | 190Php (Half Chicken) | 380Php (Whole Chicken) |
Pair the Chipotle Sauce with the Fiyah Chicken and enjoy the tender and juicy meat. Mangorind goes well with the Fiyah Bacon, on the other hand, which was tender with a good portion of fat.
Fire Station
Egg Plant for 40Php (Chorizo Sisig and Bangus from Laventana - see above) |
If you fancy grilled dishes with spicy kick, this is your best bet when in Food Haven. Fire station offers grilled meat in skewers, chicken skin, pork belly and even Tortang Talong! The grilled eggplant was loaded with toppings and what I liked about it was it's smoky flavor.
Ser Chef

Tapao offers Baos with an assortment of meat. Taking inspiration from Bao House in New York, this stall has Braised Pork Belly and Twice Cooked Pork Baos as best sellers. Aside from the usual white Baos, Tapao also has red and green tinted ones.
Kosuke

Bacon Mushroom Burger for 210Php |
Bacon Mushroom Burger has beef patty x bacon x mushrooms x double cheese x pickles x tomatoes.
Sriracha Burger for 150Php |
Sriracha Burger has beef patty x onions x cheese x hot sauce!
Bravissimo
Specializing n American cuisine, Bravissimo's best sellers include the following:
Hickory Glazed Baby Back Ribs for 229hp (Basic Meal) | 279Php (Belly Buster) | 319Php (Fully Loaded) |
Hickory Glazed Baby Back Ribs is the specialty of the house. It's made with their very own homemade glazing sauce and drizzled with Bravissimo Sauce.
Mozzarella Sticks with Trio Dip for 249Php (6pcs) | 489Php (12pcs) |
Their Mozzarella Sticks are among the best-sellers too. Their version is bigger than the usual deep-fried favorite - best consumed while warm for that ultimate cheesy gooey experience!
Como
Como
Panini for 99Php (Junior) | Regular (199Php) |
Como serves Italian cuisine. Their menu is simple with pasta, sausages and a good portion dedicated to Panini. Steak, Bacon and Blue Cheese is one of their best selling Panini that has sirloin x steak x bacon x onions x tomatoes x lettuce, drizzled with aioli and home made bbq sauce, all of which were sandwiched in ciabatta bread.
Kitchen Chong
Daddy's Big Cheese Steak for 230Php |
This stall offers street food as well as munchies. Their Big Daddy's Cheese Steak Sandwich is a best seller. It has rib eye sukiyaki beef and bacon in a huge pandesal!
Cone Head
Serving frozen custard in the form of sundaes and milkshakes topped with a variety of sweets, Cone Head will surely satisfy your sweet cold treat cravings.
Milo Dinosaur Pimped Out Cone for 100Php | 120Php |
We tried Milo Dinosaur in a cone and it was good but a little too sweet. Vanilla based frozen custard mixed with Milo powder, topped with Milo balls, Chocolate Krispies and drizzled with chocolate syrup - if you love Milo and you're a sweet tooth, this one's perfect!
Cereal Killer for 140Php |
We also got the Cereal Killer from their "Concrete" selection. Frozen custard mixed with an assortment of breakfast cereals - Honey Stars, Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops. It also has condensed milk and milk powder. A little too sweet for me but perfect for breakfast cereal lovers!
Campfire Shake for 180Php |
Then there was the Campfire Shake which I liked. Frozen custard blended with milk, mixed and topped with crushed Graham, torched marshmallow, wafer straw, chocolate syrup and whipped cream.
Xurreria
Classic Xurros | Xurro Glazed | Sticky Xurros | Xurro Filled |
Xurreria serves Churros with a variety of dips. They also have stuffed churros and coated ones. Their Classic Churros weren't too oily but pretty bland on their own. Nonetheless, you'll get the crunchy outside but soft inside kind of Churros here.
We tried all dips offered: Chocolate - really good and thick, white chocolate - was okay, matcha - not matcha at all, cream cheese - no brainer good and hazelnut - should be awesome because it's Nutella!
Food Haven at 77 has about 20 stalls so you'll have lots of options! Filipino, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Japanese - they have them all!
4 out of 5 Stars for Food Haven at 77!
