Freezer Burn has done it again! Imagine turning one classic Chinese dish into a dessert?!? What kind of crazy is that?!? Just in time for the Chinese New Year, Chef Miko & Chef Kristine made a new composed dessert - Lemon Chicken Ice Cream! When we learned about it, we can't imagine how it will turn out. Until we saw clues in Chef Miko's IG which made us giddy to go!

Went with the foodsocietyph crew, thanks to Reich for extending the invite! Freezer Burn x foodsocietyph x foodfanaticph = triple YAY!

Lemon Chicken Ice Cream
Lemon Chicken Ice Cream - Composed Dessert (Regular Size) for 295Php

Staying true to the Chinese New Year theme, a big scoop of Lemon Ice Cream was topped with a fortune cookie and a golden coin. Served with Chicken Skin by the side, this dessert is insane!

Lemon Ice Cream Only - Big Scoop for 150Php, Small Scoop for 90Php

The lemon ice cream was thick, smooth and creamy. It had a strong lemon flavor but it wasn't too much or too sour. It was refreshing and not too sweet. You know that they only used fresh lemons here and not the usual lemon essence or flavoring because the ice cream didn't have that cloying sweet lemon taste. It was so good I can finish even two to three scoops of this all by my self!

Also available in SOLO size (smaller scoop of ice cream and smaller portion of chicken skin) for 225Php

The chicken skin was good too! Crunchy with some lemon zest, it was marinated with lemon juice but surprisingly, the lemon flavor wasn't too strong. It was salty so it was the perfect compliment to the ice cream.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Best part? It's baked and not fried! *Insert feeling healthy* You can enjoy the ice cream and chicken skin separately and they'll both impress but combining them in one dunk is still the best!

Ola! from Freezer Burn
Ola! in Solo Size for 225Php

Since it was the first time of our friend Ruth here, she also tried Ola! I noticed that the Churros were not too sweet anymore, which I liked, and the dark chocolate ice cream was still - oh well super dark! Still the same quality as the first time I tried it!

5 out of 5 Stars for Freezer Burn!
