Truffle King is Back for a LIMITED TIME ONLY

When you go to the mall for some mommy chores and you see a poster of Ramen as you hop off the escalator, on a gloomy day, then you look at your husband who just saw the same poster and you both nod - you know you're having Ramen for late lunch!

This is what happened to us one fine afternoon and so we went rushing to Ramen Nagi.

foodfanaticph goes to Ramen Nagi for the nth time! YAY!

As soon as I opened the menu, the picture of Truffle King Ramen greeted me and I surrendered right away! I've been wanting to try this limited edition ramen but never had the perfect time to do so. That's why I was more than happy when it popped. Available during this festive season only, I opted to get the chef's reco since I didn't want to mess it up - I'll experiment if I'll be lucky enough to catch it again.

Truffle King for me, Butao King for the hubby plus a side order of Chashu Rice.

As soon as my Ramen bowl was served, the smell of strong truffle lingered. IT WAS HEAVEN! Took some snaps and tried it right away and gosh... Words will not be enough to describe how good it was. If you are one truffle fan, you MUST try this Ramen - ASAP! The rich broth that was salty and very tasty blended so very well with the truffle. The result? The BEST Ramen ever!

Black truffle shavings and a rich truffle infused broth - ahhhh so much goodness in this bowl!

The flavor of garlic, the tasty pork, the black truffle shavings will tickle your nose and your taste buds. I literally slurped and slurped and ate and ate until I was halfway done! This limited edition Ramen also came in with fresh and crisp lettuce. Best consumed with a little spicy kick, this Truffle King Ramen is truly the KING!

Since I was so delighted with my Truffle King, I forgot to take a picture of hubby's Butao King and the Chashu Rice. We weren't able to eat the rice bowl so we had it to go. Tried it at home and was surprised that it was good. Rice stir fried in soy sauce and some spices, mixed with a generous serving of pork belly chunks - not bad at all.

I'm trying to cut down my food intake now a days because of the non-stop food binge that I've had these past weeks. But since I fell in love with this Ramen and it's limited eddition, hubby and I went back a few days after.

Finally took a shot of hubby's Butao King - which I tried this time. It had the same tasty broth, nice garlic kick, milky and so delicious! Rich flavors plus hard noodles for that extra bite - ahhh Ramen Nagi is now my official favorite Ramen Place!

My last bowl of Truffle King for 2016!

On this second visit, tried Truffle King without any spice this time so I can share it with hubby (since I can't finish the entire bowl). IMO, this Ramen is better with some spicy kick to bring out all the flavors.

Okay, that's it! I promise not to go back for the Truffle King because it's too expensive, too much calories and I need to diet LOL Until next year, Truffle King!

5 out of 5 Stars for Ramen Nagi!
