Hole in the Wall has been housing the most unique food concepts in the Metro. There's Scout's Honor that sells freshly baked and make your own cookies, Bad Bird that serves umami-liscious fried chicken, Liberation Shawarma that sells Shawarma like no other, The Beef that sells simple but spot on burgers then there's Green Cheese.
Green Cheese started out selling nothing but Japanese Cheesecakes. They started with three flavors - Classic, Green Tea and Chocolate. Then they added a seasonal Mango flavored one and now they offer Taro. Then they offered puddings and expanded to offer beverages like slushies, floats, hot coffee iced coffee, coffee crushers, smoothies, Matcha Latte and even drip coffee. They continuously add items to their menu to include Matcha Lava Cake and even ice cream!
Their Japanese Cheesecakes are heavenly and are one of the best in the Metro! They're light and fluffy, soft and not too sweet. They had the right creaminess and that melt-in-your-mouth quality.
The Matcha flavored Japanese Cheesecake was addicting! It had the right Matcha flavor in it - strong but made subtle by the cream cheese but still managed to have that grassy bitter taste. Oh I love Matcha!

I haven't been to Green Cheese in a while so when I had the chance and saw that they offer Taro Japanese Cheesecake, I got it without thinking twice because I LOVE ANYTHING TARO!!!! I got a slice and checked out their beverage options. The staff voluntarily offered their combos and so I got slice and a cup of Iced Green Tea Latte to go with my cheesecake.
