Matcha Mille Crepe!

 I've been wanting to try this ever since I saw the post of Paper Moon Cafe in IG but then I was a little hesitant because it's not cheap and I don't want to waste money on something not worth it. But after my friend Reich approved, I know I gotta go and try it!!

Off to SM Aura, I had nothing else on mind. Ordered a slice of Matcha Mille Crepe and with the thought "this better be worth it!" I also got a Matcha Hazelnut Ice Blended Drink plus a Chocolate Chiffon Cupcake for the daughter.

The Matcha Mille Crepe was awesome! A great stack of thin crepe layered with alternating goodness of creams- the white gorgeous cream present in all other Paper Moon Mille Crepe variants, not too sweet and light, and matcha cream that has the right matcha kick. They mixed pretty well giving a balanced ratio of bitterness and sweetness plus creaminess. I just wish it was cheaper.

Their Matcha Hazenut Blended Drink was just okay. It tasted more hazelnut than matcha. Maybe if there was more matcha in it, it could have been knock out. This was served after about 30 minutes and I hate the attitude of the server that day!

The Chocolate Chiffon Cupcake was a waste of money. Looked nice but that's it! It was mamon like coz, yeah, it's chiffon! But it was terribly dry even with the white sweet cream it had in the middle of the cupcake. We weren't able to finish even half of it.

 Customer service was so bad in this branch! The lady who took my orders asked if it was okay to serve the frappe without the whipped cream and I said no because come on the whipped cream came with the package that I paid for! And besides, daughter loves whipped cream! She was a little irritated with me and in a not so polite way, she said "ah okay gagawa nlng ako" So ganon ate? Tinatamad ka lang gumawa?? At napilitan ka pa dahil umorder ako?!? Point me to whoever manages this branch or Paper Moon Cafe PH in general please! Took her forever to serve the drink!


5 Stars for the Matcha Mille Crepe, 3 Stars for the Matcha Hazelnut Drink, 2 Stars for the Cupcake and 1 Star for the Service!
